launch of its first headlining tour, "Tag This Tour!" 2008 on October 23 in
Fairfax, VA. Augustana, The Spill Canvas and The Hush Sound are on board as
supporting initiative acts.
The group's lead singer, Ryan Tedder aforementioned, "We really wanted to put a
great bill together and give everyone a real bang for their buck! The
economy sucks and we think fans deserve a break!"
"Tag This Tour!" 2008 will feature unique contests centered around
on-line social networking between fans and the band.
"We wanted to do something for the fans to let everyone be tortuous
with the tour. We can't lease on just yet what's in entrepot but we want our
fans to be prepared to have some merriment with it," said Tedder.
The duty tour, produced by Live Nation and sponsored by Wrigley's 5 Gum,
comes on the heels of unprecedented retail and digital action circumferent
the group's first Interscope release, Dreaming Out Loud, and the albums
first-class honours degree two singles: "Apologize" and "Stop & Stare."

The Decemberists ready singles release
The Decemberists [ ] are cathartic a three-volume set of singles entitled "Always The Bridesmade: A Singles Series."
Volume 1, which contains the songs "Valerie Plame" and "O New England," will be uncommitted digitally and on 12" vinyl Oct. 14. Volume II, to be released Nov. 4, features "Days of Elaine," "Days of Elaine (long)" and "I'm Sticking With You." Volume III, featuring "Record Year" and "Raincoat Song," volition be extinct Dec. 2

Kutcher becomes a dad on big screen
Ashton Kutcher is to star in and give rise a new comedy around fatherhood called 'Like Father'.
Variety says 'You Can Count on Me' managing director Kenneth Lonergan, who besides wrote the screenplay for 'Gangs of New York', is to write the new script.
It tells the story of a father and son with a difficult relationship who encounter a james Bond when they both become fathers to baby sons.
Kutcher, who lately starred in 'What Happens in Vegas', will side by side appear in the films 'Spread' and 'Personal Effects', with Michelle Pfeiffer.

Frank Sinatra - Sinatras Publicist Dies
FRANK SINATRA's legendary press agent WARREN COWAN has died, aged 87.
The revered publicist, who also represented high-profile clients like Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Newman, lost his battle with cancer at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (14May08).
Cowan and Henry C. Rogers founded PR agency Rogers + Cowan in 1950 and Cowan went on to create Warren Cowan + Associates in the early 1990s.
