launch of its first headlining tour, "Tag This Tour!" 2008 on October 23 in
Fairfax, VA. Augustana, The Spill Canvas and The Hush Sound are on board as
supporting initiative acts.
The group's lead singer, Ryan Tedder aforementioned, "We really wanted to put a
great bill together and give everyone a real bang for their buck! The
economy sucks and we think fans deserve a break!"
"Tag This Tour!" 2008 will feature unique contests centered around
on-line social networking between fans and the band.
"We wanted to do something for the fans to let everyone be tortuous
with the tour. We can't lease on just yet what's in entrepot but we want our
fans to be prepared to have some merriment with it," said Tedder.
The duty tour, produced by Live Nation and sponsored by Wrigley's 5 Gum,
comes on the heels of unprecedented retail and digital action circumferent
the group's first Interscope release, Dreaming Out Loud, and the albums
